A Pricing & Payment Overview for Businesses and Consultants

A Pricing & Payment Overview for Businesses and Consultants

How Payments Work on 2du

2du uses Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment platforms — to handle all billing. Your card information is stored securely by Stripe, never by 2du. Everything is automatic after initial setup. Most business owners never need to think about billing after their first day.

FOR BUSINESS OWNERS — WHAT YOU PAY

You pay two things when you sign up:

1. A monthly subscription starting at $35/month
This covers your BizDetails mobile page, a custom QR code that opens your profile instantly, your customer microblog, your business has its own pin on the MAP, you are visible and findable both inside the app and findable by AI Agent using an industry standard connection. This renews automatically every month. You will receive a Stripe receipt by email each time.

2. An advertising pin pool — A one time $30 experiment at signup
This is a prepaid advertising credit that powers optional location pins you add beyond your HOME pin based on the profile address.  Each optional pin costs $1 per advertising day (6 AM to 3 AM) / per location. The $30 pool gives you a chance to experiment and see the power of attracting more customers based on increasing your visibility in your community.  These ads that you show can be text, websites, or videos.  People will see how exciting, informative, and valuable your products & services are !

Your total on day one: $65

HOW THE ADVERTISING PIN "POOL" WORKS

Your permanent business address pin is free — it is covered by your subscription and never draws from your pool.

Optional pins — such as a pin near a competitor, a college campus, or a stadium on game day — cost $1 per advertising day each. These are deducted automatically from your pool at the end of each advertising day.

When your pool balance reaches $5, Stripe automatically charges your card on file for another $30 and your balance is restored. You will receive a Stripe receipt by email each time this happens. You never need to manually top up your balance.  If you do not want to participate past the 1st set of 30 optional pins (advertising day/locations) just tell us and we will stop the auto charging for these ads.

Example:
You have your business address pin (free) and one optional Ad pin which costs ($1/day). At the end of each day $1 is deducted from your pool. After about 25 days your balance approaches $5 and Stripe automatically charges $30 to restore it. Your advertising never stops. You can assign that optional ad pin whenever and wherever you want.

WHAT YOU WILL SEE ON YOUR CARD STATEMENT

Monthly subscription charge: $35 from 2du Inc.
Pin pool top-up charges: $30 from 2du Inc. as needed

These are the only charges you will see from 2du.

IF A PAYMENT FAILS

If your card is declined, you will be notified immediately.  Your advertising pins continue running for 24 hours while the payment issue is resolved. If it is not resolved within 24 hours, your optional pins will pause until payment is updated. Your subscription and BizDetails page remain active.

To update your payment method, contact us at https://2duHelp.com and submit a support ticket.

CANCELLATION

You can cancel at any time. Your subscription stops at the end of the current billing period. Unused pin pool balance is a prepaid advertising credit and is non-refundable, consistent with standard advertising industry practice. Your BizDetails page remains visible for 30 days after cancellation and is then archived.

FOR AI CONSULTANTS — HOW BILLING WORKS IN YOUR SETUP

When you sign up a new business client, 2du handles all payment collection directly. You never handle your client's card information.

Here is what happens:

1. Your client signs up through 2du's website
Stripe collects their card and charges $65 on day one ($35 subscription + $30 Ad pin pool). 2du manages the Stripe relationship entirely.

2. 2du issues you a billing token for this client
After signup you receive a confirmation that includes three things:
— MCP API Key (connects your AI Agent software to 2du)
— Billing Token (authorizes your AI Agent to control Ad pins and submit setup changes)
— A Business_ID (identifies this client in the 2du system)

3. You add the billing token to your config.json
This is the only payment-related item in your configuration file. It is just a string — like an API key. There are no Stripe keys, no card numbers, and no financial data in your agent configuration.  This is just permission to control this businesses account.

4. Pin activity is recorded by 2du automatically.  As the advertising day ends, your account will be deducted the amount of pins used.  If the balance is running low, 2du triggers the auto top-up automatically. You never need to manage this.  A notification is always sent to the AI Agent when ever there is activity relevant to expected behavior.

Your agent config.json for payment looks like this:  billing_token: "bill_XXXXX"

That is all. Everything else is handled by 2du and Stripe.

YOUR OWN FEES AS A CONSULTANT

Your setup fees and monthly retainer are separate from 2du billing entirely. You need to negotiate with your business client, and invoice them directly for your services.  2du does not process or track your consulting income.

SECURITY

Stripe is a licensed payment processor operating under strict financial regulations in the United States and internationally. Your client's card data is stored by Stripe — not by 2du and not by your AI Agent. The billing token in your config.json cannot be used to charge a card, access card details, or perform any action other than reporting pin activity to 2du.

If you believe a billing token has been compromised, contact 2du support immediately.   Go to https://2duHelp.com and submit a service ticket.
